The Queensland Cane Growers Organisation, popularly known as CANEGROWERS, is the main representative body for Australian sugar cane farmers. It provides leadership, services and representation. CANEGROWERS promotes unity in the interests of its members.

CANEGROWERS negotiates with all levels of government and other agencies on issues affecting cane growers. On behalf of its members, it bargains with the mill owners on cane supply, processing and payment issues.

CANEGROWERS goals include maximising grower efficiency, recognising diverse grower needs while maintaining the organisation’s unity and providing a structure for future development of the industry.
