Terrain NRM is a not-for-profit public company funded from community, corporate and government resources.

Terrain NRM promotes healthy ecosystems, production systems and communities in the Wet Tropics. Its mission is to inspire the community's commitment and understanding to achieve ecologically sustainable natural resource use.

Terrain NRM supports the Wet Tropics region to develop local projects and solutions that benefit the environment, community and economy. This is achieved using science, technology, business development and the knowledge gained from local experts, such as farmers and traditional owners.

Terrain NRM’s projects include working for sustainable production, reducing pests and weeds and protecting biodiversity hotspots.
